The Village of Wilton has been unable to obtain fidelity surety bonding for clerk/treasurer Mindy Haase, mostly likely due to “past risk,” said board president Missy Coldren, alluding to the January arrest of former clerk/treasurer Leigha Barton on embezzlement charges.
