The time has come to flip pancakes again, and the Wilton Lions Club members could use a little help from their friends.
The Lions have been serving pancakes for many years on Sundays at the Wilton Village Park, and it has been a popular breakfast stop for bikers and campers.
Serving runs from 7–10:30 a.m., with a bit of cleanup at the end. If you can help for an hour or more, it would be very much appreciated, as the Lions Club has very few members.
The pancakes are their major fundraiser, along with the refreshment stand at Wilton Wood Turtle weekend in late summer. Funds are used to support scholarships, the Wilton Community Center and ball field improvements.
