Wildcat Mountain State Park near Ontario will host winter stargazing and a candlelight ski/hike from 5–9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.
The 1.5-mile torch-lit trail winds through an old orchard on the ridge. Bonfires and refreshments will be available. The Kickapoo Valley Reserve’s astronomy educators will provide telescopes for stargazing.
All activities will be near the park’s maintenance shop. The Friends of Wildcat Mountain State Park will sponsor the event. A vehicle admission fee is required.
