Wednesday, Feb. 17: Monroe County reports four new cases; Vernon County, one; and Juneau County, five

Monroe County today had four new Covid-19 cases, bringing its total to 4,203, of which 54 are active (three are hospitalized), 4,119 have recovered, and 30 have died.

Vernon County reported one new case, a woman in her 30s who is recovering at home.

Of the 1,805 positive results since the start of the pandemic, 1,719 have recovered, one is hospitalized, 36 are isolating at home, and 39 have died.

In Juneau County, five new cases were reported, resulting in a tally of 2,305, of which 50 are active (two are hospitalized), 137 have been released from isolation, 2,100 have recovered, and 18 have died.

Juneau County tracks its facility cases separately from those in the rest of the county. Neither the New Lisbon Correctional Institution nor the Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center have active cases at this time. At Sand Ridge, 51 cases have been reported since the Dec. 3 start of an outbreak; at the correctional institution, 548 since the Aug. 15 start of an outbreak.
