Tuesday, June 2: Cory Schubert of Genoa was traveling northbound on Highway 35 in the town of Bergen when he hit a deer. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. 

Tuesday, June 2: Mary Gates-Radke of Westby made a U-turn on Main Street in Stoddard on a part of the street currently closed for road construction. At the same time, road construction workers were traveling southbound on Main Street and were backing up a pickup truck and trailer. While both vehicles were conducting their maneuvers, the construction trailer ran into Gates-Radke’s vehicle. No injuries occurred. Gates-Radke’s vehicle sustained functional damage, and the trailer had minimal damage.

Thursday, June 4: Robert Janisch of Stoddard was traveling eastbound on County Highway K in the town of Bergen. Later stating that he had dozed off, Janisch had traveled off the roadway to the right, continued down an embankment, and struck several small trees before coming to rest. Janisch did not have any injuries at the time of the accident. The vehicle had disabling damage.

Thursday, June 4: Mark Kunert of De Soto was traveling northbound on Newton Road in the town of Harmony. Kunert later stated he had sneezed, which had caused him to go off of the roadway and onto the soft ditch. The vehicle had gone down the ditch and through a fence, striking two electric pole guide wires before coming to rest in a field. No injuries were sustained. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.

Thursday, June 4: Mary Jo Noel of Prairie du Chien, Wis., was traveling southbound on Highway 162 in the town of Bergen. Noel came to a sharp left corner, and due to the fast speeds, was unable to maneuver the corner. The vehicle left the roadway onto the right shoulder of the road. Sustaining significant damage, the vehicle struck several objects. The vehicle was towed from the accident scene. No injuries were reported.
