Vernon County reported six new cases from April 2–8, all of whom are recovering at home: two males between 0–9 years old, a male between 10–19 years old, a female in his 80s, a female in her 20s and a female in her 70s.

Since the start of the pandemic, the county has had 1,894 cases, of which 1,839 have recovered, one is hospitalized, 11 are isolating at home, and 43 have died.
