Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers and the Monroe County Health Department have undertaken a collaborative effort to host a community vaccine clinic on Wednesday, April 10, from 2–6 p.m. at the Wilton Public Library, 400 East St.
The clinic will provide access to vaccines for all community members, and insurance is accepted. Free vaccines also are available to individuals who qualify, meeting one of the following criteria:
• Medicaid eligible OR enrolled
• No insurance
• American Indian/Alaskan Native
• Under-insured (health insurance does not cover the cost of vaccines or only selected vaccines)
The clinic will provide an opportunity for community members to access essential vaccinations conveniently and offers the following vaccines: Tdap/Td/Dtap, hepatitis B, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), polio, Pneumococcal, COVID-19, HPV (human papillomavirus), RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus), hepatitis A, rotavirus, meningococcal, influenza and Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae type b)
