Marah Gruen will be the lone track athlete for Royall to advance to state track after competing in the Division 3 Mondovi Sectional on May 26. Gruen placed in the top four in four of her competing events. Results from sectionals are the following: Long jump, fourth place, 15-10.50; triple jump, fourth place, 34-1.75); 1,600-meter run, third place, 5:27.86; and 3,200-meter run, fourth place, 11:53.36. Additionally for Brookwood, the girls 1,600-meter relay and 3,200-meter relay will compete for a podium finish at state.
