An Ontario driver and her two passengers were sustained minor injuries Friday in a one-vehicle crash on County Highway P, one-fourth mile east of Highway 27 in the town of Christiana.
At about 10:25 p.m., Daisy Hansen, 19, of Ontario came across a slippery stretch of roadway that caused her to lose control. The vehicle left the roadway, went down a steep embankment, and then came to rest on its roof.
Hansen and her passengers, Kylea Brueggeman, 17, of Ontario and Justice Franks, 21, of Westby, all were wearing their seatbelts. Westby First Responders ad Tri-State Ambulance evaluated all three at the scene, and Tri-State Ambulance later transported them to Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua for suspected minor injuries.
