Thomas E. Vesbach, 68, of La Farge passed into eternal life Tuesday, July 9, 2013, with his family by his side.
He was born July 1, 1945 in Waukesha County, the son of Walter and Dorothy (Larsen) Vesbach. Tom graduated in 1963 from Muskego High School. In 1967, he married Linda Ender, and she preceded him in death in 1996. Tom was a farmer all of his life, which was his lifelong dream. He was the president of the Tri-State. In April 2008, Tom married Lois Sweeten.
Tom is survived by his wife, Lois; his children, Julie A. (Tim) Hotek of Hillsboro, Anton T. (Susan) Vesbach of West Lima, Randal J. (Amy) Vesbach of La Farge, Christopher M. (Amy) Vesbach of Yuba, and Michelle L. (Wade) Gilman of La Farge; his stepchildren, Michael A. Santo of California and Meredith K. Santo of La Crosse; his brothers and sisters, Joseph (Barb) Vesbach of Viroqua, Carol (David) Hall of Westby, Raymond Vesbach of Greenfield, Wis., Marion (Fred) Funk of East Troy, Wis., Nancy (Vic) Jaramillo of Arizona, Patrick (Belen) Vesbach of Viroqua, Louise (Rick) Rickelman of Ohio, Judith (Mike) Weinkauf of Burlington, Wis., Jane Vesbach of Dousman, Wis., Gerald (Connie) Vesbach of Viroqua, Paul (Janet) Vesbach of Ohio, Vernel Vesbach of Westby, Allen Vesbach of Florida, Charles (Karen) Vesbach of Platteville, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy, and his wife, Linda.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Friday, July 12, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wilton. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at Tom and Lois’s home, E14392 Jug Creek Road, La Farge, on Thursday, July 11, from 4–8 p.m. Friends may also call at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, July 12, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 12 p.m. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
