Shirley J. Tutt, 77, of Kirkland, Ill., formerly of Sugar Grove, Ill., passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her loving family, at Bethany Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in DeKalb, Ill., on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011.
She is survived by the following:
• Her loving husband of 60 years, Jerry Tutt
• Four children – Vickie McCann of Casper, Wyo., Dawn Robinson of Geneva, Ill., Terry (Cherri) Tutt of Fort Smith, Ark., and Bradley (Charlene) Tutt of Sycamore, Ill.
• Twelve grandchildren – Jerry (Jennifer Radovich) Holle and their children, Lynna, Elsye and Mikayla; Christopher (Meagan) Holle; Jace Robinson; Enid (D.J.) Ford and their son, Matthew; Shawn O’Neal; Dona McCann and her children, Mason and Robin; Sherri (Steve) McQuarrie and their children, Dillon, Austin and Kolter; Jonathon (Erica) Tutt and their son, Elijah; Jennifer Tutt; Heather (Chris) Lehnert and their children, Audra Rae and Trevor; Bradley (Elyse Short) Tutt Jr.; and Katrina (Patrick Alton) Tutt and their children, Zander and Leah
• Two siblings – Betty (Norbert) Burch of Kendall and Larry (Loretta) Parish of Tomah
• She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a community of friends, including special neighbors Ted and Judy Bruch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Dorothy, and one daughter, Deborah Rae Holle.
The visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL 60119. A funeral to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the First United Methodist Church of Kirkland, 300 W. South Street, Kirkland. Rev. Pamela Rossmiller, pastor of the church, will officiate, and interment will follow at Maple Cemetery, Kirkland.
