Saturday, Feb. 6, to Monday, Feb. 8: Monroe County has 21 new cases; Vernon County, 11; and Juneau County, seven

Monroe County reported 21 new Covid-19 cases Saturday through Monday, bringing the total to 4,130, of which 83 were active (four were hospitalized), 4,017 had recovered, and 30 had died.

Vernon County had 11 new cases:

• A male between 10–19 years who is recovering at home

• A male in his 30s who is recovering at home

• A male in his 50s who is recovering at home

• A male in his 60s who is recovering at home

• A male in his 70s who is recovering at home

• Two females in their 20s who are recovering at home

• A female in her 30s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 40s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 60s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 80s who is hospitalized

Of the total 1,787 cases, 1,669 had recovered, four were hospitalized, 77 were isolating at home, and 37 had died.

Juneau County had seven new cases, resulting in a tally of 2,270, of which 135 were active (two were hospitalized), 145 had been released from isolation, and 17 had died.

The New Lisbon Correctional Facility and the Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center each had one active case and no new cases. In all, the correctional institution has had 548 cases since the Aug. 15 start of an outbreak; and Sand Ridge, 51 since the Dec. 3 start of an outbreak.
