The following are the Royall students of the month for December. Teachers’ comments follow the students’ names.

• Seventh-grader Trey: “We enjoy having Trey in class because he works hard, he is attentive and focused, he has a positive attitude, he uses his time wisely, and he works well with others. He is a very polite and respectful person. He is very funny and has a great sense of humor, but is always ready to work hard when he needs to.”

• Eighth-grader Ashleigh: “Ashleigh is a great student to have in class! She stays on task, puts forth her best effort, and asks questions when needed. She truly cares about her learning. Congratulations, Ashleigh! Well deserved.”

• Freshman Jordyn: “Jordyn is a great student. She always stays positive. While virtual, she did a great job staying on top of her studies. Jordyn always seems to make the attempt to do her best, never taking the ‘shortcuts’ or looking for the easiest way to complete something. She seems to want to get the most she can out of her educational experience. Great job, Jordyn!”

• Sophomore Jessie: “Jessie is very responsible and shows a strong commitment to both her academics and the activities she chooses. She consistently demonstrates that doing well in school is very important to her. Great job, Jessie!”

• Junior Aleena: “Aleena is a top-notch student! She consistently completes high-quality work, stays on task, and participates in class discussions. She also is very receptive to feedback and cares about her learning. Great job, Aleena!”

• Senior Darrick: “Darrick is a great student to have in class! He comes to class prepared and ready to learn each day. He is also extremely respectful and kind toward his peers and staff members. He has positive interactions with everyone around him and cares about the well-being of others. Great job, Darrick!”
