Rosella VanLue of Oronogo, Mo., went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2023, at Serenity House in Tomah, Wis., at the age of 82.
Rosella was born on Nov. 5, 1930, in the town of Sheldon. She loved the Lord. In 1973, she married Vincent VanLue in Jamestown, Tenn. They loved feeding the birds, especially hummingbirds, and taking care of animals. There was never a stray around Rosella. She had numerous occupations; however, her biggest accomplishment was her seven children.
She will be lovingly remembered by a sister, Seena Mae of Adams-Friendship, Wis.; her children, Patricia Meffert of Wonewoc, Wis., Allan (Rose) Thomas, Joanna (Ronald) Brueggeman of Ontario, Wis., Laura Tralmer of Tomah, Wis., Anita Thomas-Bua of South Beloit, Ill., and Neil (Heather) VanLue of Joplin, Mo.; her daughter-in-law, Linda Thomas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; two daughters, Verna Fay and Rose Marie; one son, Lyle Thomas; and one son-in-law, Lee Meffert.
A celebration of life will be from 1–3 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at 21700 Noble Ave., Ontario, Wis.
