Author and mental health nurse-practitioner Deborah Grassman will give a free presentation called “Soul Injury Awareness” from 6–8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Veterans Hall (building 455 at the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center).
Tomah Memorial Hospice Touch & Life Choices Palliative Care and the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospice and Palliative Care programs have teamed up to coordinate the event. The presentation is intended to serve as a resource for families of veterans, first responders, victims of accidents, crime or natural disasters, abuse and neglect, and for people who have experienced loss of personal health or a loved one.
