Our summer readers already have raised $31 for the Vernon County K-9 Unit! Help us raise even more money before Aug. 4. How it works: read four books to earn one K-9 Buck. One K-9 Buck equals $1 donated to the Vernon County K-9 Unit. Pick up a reading log at the library. This program is open to all ages. We challenge you to read as many books as you can this summer to raise money for Dax, Vernon County’s new K-9. Questions? Call (608) 337-4651 and ask for April.

We’re starting a new book group at Ontario Public Library. Join the True Crime Book Group on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 6 p.m. in the library basement to discuss our first selection “I’ll Be Gone in The Dark” by Michelle McNamara. Pick up a copy at the circulation desk today.

We’ll host a free senior mobility exercise session on Tuesday, July 27, at 2 p.m. in the library basement. No equipment is required, but we are asking participants to bring a yoga mat if they own one. Questions? Call (608) 337-4651 and ask for April. This program is sponsored by the Winding Rivers Library System and the Ontario Public Library.
