Stop by the Ontario Public Library and guess the weight of the pumpkin. The weight will be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 1. The closest guess wins the pumpkin and a special prize! A big thank you goes out to Arndt Brothers Construction for donating the pumpkin.

John Armbruster, the author of “Tailspin,” will be at the library Monday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m. to talk about his book. In “Tailspin,” Armbruster tells “the true story of a World War II Tail Gunner who survived a four-mile fall without a parachute only to land in Nazi hands” (johnarmbruster.com). After a presentation of the book, we’ll have a Q&A session, and then an opportunity for you to purchase a copy of the book and get it signed. This is a free event sponsored by the Ontario Public Library.
