An 18-year-old Ontario man was arrested yesterday in connection with the death of 15-year-old Storm Vondrashek, who was fatally shot May 22 near 1900 S. Seventh St. in La Crosse.
Sage Hicke turned himself into La Crosse police Friday afternoon and was charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
At 1:24 a.m. on May 22, police responded to shots fired and discovered Vondrashek in the driveway of an apartment complex. Emergency personnel attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at 1:43 a.m.
Hicke was a Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District student for fifth grade, sixth grade, eighth grade, ninth grade and 10th grade.
