Norma E. Verwiebe Loveless, 99, of Tomahawk, Wis., went to her home in heaven Monday, March 3, 2014.
She was born March 24, 1914, on the Popp family farm, which was west of Kendall, to Henry and Amanda (Hoefs) Popp. She was baptized, confirmed and married to Herb Verwiebe in 1934 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kendall. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Darell and Gale.
After Herb’s death in 1971, Norma retired in 1976 from Pleasant Acres and moved to Darell’s lake home in Boulder Junction, Wis. She married Marvin Loveless in 1985. After his death in 1998, Norma moved to Alice Henke Villa in Tomahawk, Wis. She was a faithful member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed fishing, walking, sewing and quilting and family visits.
Norma is survived by one son, Gale (Anne); one daughter-in-law, Vera; and five grandchildren, Beth Davidson (Duane), Darin Verwiebe, Brooke White (Michael), Eric Verwiebe (Tara) and Laura Frink (Jeff). She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husbands; her son, Darell; and her sister, Roma Noth of Tomah. We cherish our memories of Norma and strive to follow her example of faith.
