An 84-year-old New Lisbon woman apparently was uninjured Sept. 29 in a single-vehicle crash on County Highway F and Tower Road, west of Hillsboro, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
Arvilla B. Novy was driving eastbound on County Highway F and Tower road when she lost control on a corner and left the road. Her vehicle struck some vehicle parts and a pole shed, continuing through a private yard and coming to rest in a ditch,
Sustaining heavy front-end damage, the vehicle was towed from the scene. Hillsboro EMS checked Novy at the scene, and she declined medical transport to the hospital.
