N-O-W suspends food delivery until March 23; staff member may have been exposed to COVID-19

By KELLY T. BURHOP

District Administrator

The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District has been notified that one of its employees may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. The N-O-W employee lives with a relative who works in La Crosse and currently has a fever. The relative has a coworker who has been quarantined. The N-O-W employee did have contact with the food service department. Due to this information, the school district is suspending all food deliveries until Monday, March 23, until school district administration has a better understanding of this situation. Right now, there are too many unknowns, and it is best to err on the side of caution and safety. I apologize for the inconvenience.
