Brookwood announced this week it had surpassed its goal of raising $7,500 for new stage curtains.
This amount was doubled to more than $15,000 with a matching grant from String Swing, a locally owned and operated company. Funds beyond the initial goal will be used to replace the stage’s main drape and to purchase new spotlights for productions and community events.
The school district thanked the donors who contributed to this effort and String Swing for its active community engagement.
