The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District will host its Picnic Community Day at the Norwalk Village Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1.
The event will serve as a modified version of Community Night, which is in its 22nd year.
The picnic will feature piñatas for the kids, with bags of candies to pass and many prizes for them too. Also, a raffle will be offered for children in attendance.
Due to Covid-19, there will not be the traditional dish to pass from the parents or the community. And the students will not perform a dance as they have years before.
