The Monroe County Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) will issue benefits and offer nutrition education days in August.
Participants can come to the WIC office in Sparta from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, or from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
WIC provides healthful foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and community resources.
