Alice Ackerman, elder benefit specialist with the Monroe County Aging and Disability Resource Center, will be give a presentation on the different sections of Medicare and will explain what each letter of Medicare covers, from hospital costs to prescription medications.
Ackerman also will discuss the difference between public and private Medicare options to cover the 20% that Medicare doesn’t cover, as well as any new features for 2024.
