The Monroe County Republicans will host a program entitled “Hour of intelligent Conversation” in conjunction with a meet-the-candidates event.
The conversation will take place at their headquarters in Sparta, located at 100 S. Water St., from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.
The event is intended to serve as an opportunity to meet local candidates and ask questions. Light refreshments will be served.
The invited candidates are the following: U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson; state Reps. Nancy Vandemeer, Lee Nerison and Ed Brooks; and state Sen. candidates Dan Kapanke and Patrick Testin.
