WILTON, Wis./LODI, Wis. — Mark R. Munz, 67, passed away unexpectedly due to a recent illness on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born into a large family on April 7, 1957, in Madison, the son of Cletus and Dorothy (Thistle) Munz.

Mark grew up in Lodi and graduated from Lodi High School with the class of 1975. He loved going on adventures, spending time outdoors, fishing and listening to music.

Mark is survived by his siblings, William Munz, Patricia (Eddie) Munz, Dolores (Laurice) McCoy Ozyuwah, Daniel (Lori) Munz, Marybeth (Jeff) Schroeder, Regina (Bradley) Endres and Christine (John) Munz; his brothers-in-law, Curt Kubly and Jeff Rimington; his sister-in-law, Rose Munz; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Dorothy; two sisters, Ann Kubly and Alice Munz; and four brothers, James Munz, Ronald Munz, Michael Munz and infant brother Francis Munz. 

A celebration of life will be held at American Legion Popst No. 508, 508 Walker St., Wilton, WI 54670 on Saturday, April 5, from 12–4 p.m.
