A La Farge woman and her two children were sent to the hospital after their vehicle had rolled over in the town of Webster on Thursday, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 2 p.m., Taeryn Johnson, 36, was driving west on Avalanche Road, near County Highway S, when she lost control on the slick roadway, crossed the centerline, and went into the ditch. Then the vehicle rolled twice and came to rest on its wheels.
Johnson, who was wearing her seatbelt, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the La Farge Fire Department. The two children were in child seats and did not require extrication. An ambulance transported all three to Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua.
