As part of its Ralph Nuzum Lecture Series, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve will host “Curiosity on Mars” on Wednesday, April 24, at the KVR Visitor Center.

Rebecca M.E. Williams, senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute, will share how the international science team participates in daily operations on Mars from their home institutions, plus she will describe the latest findings from the mission and what terrain lies ahead.

Refreshments and socializing will start 6:30 p.m.; and the talk, at 7 p.m. Afterward, from 8–9 p.m., a special stargazing event will be offered.

The program is free and open to the public.

The event is sponsored by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation (Nuzum) Fund, the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the Friends of the KVR.
