The Kendall American Legion had two Quilt of Valor presentations April 18 at the Kendall American Legion Hall.
Commander Doug Rogalla said, “Please join us in congratulating Don Yahnke and Pat Riebe, who were awarded Quilts of Valor in recognition of their service to our country. Special thanks also to Mary Fawcett (Elroy Legion Auxiliary) for organizing and coordinating the event and Arlene Garvens for making these beautiful quilts. Your efforts are so greatly appreciated.”
Both Yahnke and Riebe are Vietnam-era veterans.
