John L. Delaney, 55, of Hillsboro passed away at his home Oct. 3, 2011.
He was born to John G. and Lucille (Markee) Delaney on Sept. 28, 1956. He was united in marriage to Mary Hine in 1980. During 1982 and 1984, they had two children, John Paul and Jessica Marie.
He is survived by his children; his mother, Lucille of Union Center; four uncles; and many cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Delaney, and many aunts and uncles.
Family services will be at a later date.
The Smith-Nelson Funeral Home, Kendall, is assisting the family with arrangements.
