Gregory G. Evans, 60, of Janesville died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at home.

He was born in Wisconsin on Sept. 12, 1954, the son of Duane and Joy (Lewis) Evans. He retired from General Motors in 2002 and drove for McFarland Pheasant Farm for several years. He was a member of the UAW Local 94 and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Footville.

Gregory is survived by his three children, Lynn (Kevin) Lloyd of Janesville, Matthew Evans of Evansville, and James (Lisa) Udulutch of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Greggory, Elizabeth, Branden, Lacey and Kyla; four siblings, Randy (Lynn) Evans of Wilton, Mickki (Marty) Fischer of Adams Friendship, Danny (Jean) Evans of Wilton and Jamie (Cori) Evans of Wilton; a significant other, Diane Portalski; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Joy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Footville, with Rev. Kevin Dooley officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4­–7 p.m. at Schneider Apfel Schneider & Schneider Funeral Home & Crematory.
