Gerald J. Miller, 88, of Sparta died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at the Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta.
He was born Nov. 18, 1922, to John and Christine (Brand) Miller in the town of Glendale.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Gail Palamaruk of Kendall, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, M. Eleanor (Charles) Murphy, Margaret (Leo) Blaskey and Marianne (Paul) Gardner; four brothers, Francis “Fritz” Miller, John Miller, Jerome Leo Miller and infant brother Raymond; and a nephew, John Charles Murphy.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Chapel of Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, 14345 County Hwy. B, Sparta, Wis. Fr. John Selvamanohar (Mano) will officiate. Burial will be at 12 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Kendall. Relatives and friends are invited to call one hour prior to services Thursday at the chapel. The Smith-Nelson Funeral Home of Kendall is assisting the family with the arrangements.
