Dianne L. Naumann, 74, of La Crosse passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at her home after a six-year battle with lymphoma and leukemia. 

She was born in Sacramento, Calif., on Sept. 26, 1943, to Richard and Colleen (Kralik) Lewis, but grew up in Iowa. On May 26, 1984, Dianne married Dennis Naumann.

Dianne graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1965. She worked at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill., for 21 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, playing the piano, and traveling with Dennis. She was an active member of English Lutheran Church and was a member of the La Crosse Area Synod Middle East Subcommittee.

Dianne is survived by her loving caregiver husband, Dennis; a daughter, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Broomall of Bloomington, Ind.; a son, Richard (Cathy) Gosse of West Creek, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Pamela (Andrew) Torchalski of Longmont, Colo.; and Jill (Stephen) Nover of Silver Spring, Md.; eight grandchildren, Caleb Gosse, Hunter and Oceana Broomall, Elizabeth and Claire Gosse, Sydney Torchalski, and Emily and Matthew Nover; and three brothers, Richard Lewis, Thomas (Beth Larson) Lewi, and David (Mary Ward) Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Steven Gosse, in 2005.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at English Lutheran Church, 1509 King St., La Crosse. Pastor Mark Solyst will officiate, and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service.

The Dickinson Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to English Lutheran Church, La Crosse; St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 401 Mill St., Wilton; or the Gift of Life Transplant House, 705 SW Second St., Rochester, Minn.

The family would like to thank Dr. Paula Gill and the staff at the Mayo Cancer Care Clinic in La Crosse and Dr. Samer Alsidawi and the staff at Mayo Clinic in Rochester for their wonderful care of Dianne.
