Diane Marie Jean Hericks, 61, of Norwalk passed away peacefully Friday, May 13, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Diane was born July 25, 1949, in Verdun, Canada, to Roger and Jeannie (Horton) Massicotte. She grew up in Scotland, where she met a handsome United States Navy man, Art Hericks. On Nov. 11, 1972, she was united in holy matrimony to Art on St. Mary’s Ridge, rural Cashton.

Diane is survived by her husband, Art of Norwalk; her sons, Michael of Sparta and Anthony (Candi) and Ian (Jessica), both of Neillsville, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Andrew Philips of Sandy, Utah, Cameron and Olivia of Bath Main, Phoenix, and Kali Hericks of Neillsville and Makendri and Scotlyn Hericks of Neillsville; one brother, Mike (Margaret) Massicotte of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada; a sister-in-law, Gail Massicotte (Roger) of Verdun, Quebec, Canada; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends in Canada and the States.

Diane was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather, who passed away in 2008; her parents; a brother, Roger, who passed away in October 2010; and her father-in-law, Walter Hericks.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Mount Pisgah Wesleyan Church, rural Ontario. Pastor Bob Streeter will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 5–7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Norwalk Community Center, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
