Dean K. Wallace, 74, of Sparta passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

He was born Nov. 11, 1942, to Boyd and Severa (Stecker) Wallace in Norwalk. Dean grew up in the Norwalk area and graduated from Norwalk High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He married Adeline Webb on July 27, 1974. They shared this beautiful day in the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Norwalk. She preceded him in death March 31, 2016. 

Dean worked at Northern Engraving, Spartek, and delivered the Foxxy Shopper with Adeline for more than 25 years. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. Above all, Dean loved to spend time with his two grandsons. 

Dean is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Brian) Ebert of Angelo, and their sons, Adam and Trent; his sisters-in-law, Charlene Webb of Ontario, Eleanor (Richard) Poppie of Beloit, Rita (Gene) Allen of McFarland, Wis., and Karen Wallace of Holmen; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline; his parents, Boyd and Severa; and a brother, Dick Wallace. 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Norwalk, with Rev. Fran Hewuse officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Cal Day Cemetery in rural Ontario.
