Beverly Stenerson, 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 13, 2022. On Sept. 21, 1952, Beverly realized that she was a sinner in need of a Savior. The Lord revealed to her that her sin debt was paid by His blood that was shed. All her sins were laid on Him. 

Beverly was born to Bernard and Stella Bauman Oct. 6, 1928. She married the love of her life on Feb. 16, 1948. They farmed on South Ridge for over 20 years. They moved to De Soto when Lee started working for the Army Corps of Engineers.  During the transition, Bev worked at Badger Ordnance in Baraboo. She also worked as a telephone operator in Ontario. She worked for a summer gathering data for the Corps at the local parks. 

 Bev was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother,

She was a true help meet to Lee, always by his side, in all of their endeavors. She was very hospitable; their home was always open to family and friends. She would always invite any visitors who came to the assembly meetings home for a meal, even if she didn’t know what she was serving. Family was everything to her; she devoted her life to loving them and made sure that all heard about God’s great gift of salvation through His Son. 

Bev is survived by her daughter, Diane (Ron) Doll, grandson Brandon (Kristi) Doll and their children, Brenna, Gracie, and Nolan; grandson Lance (Sharlene) Doll and their children, Marshall, Shepard, and Wesley; her son, Michael Stenerson, daughter-in-law Marilyn Stenerson, granddaughter Marcy (Jake) Sheire, great-granddaughter Nicole (Jonathan) and their children: Noah, Quinten, Wyatt, Otis, and Aria; great-granddaughter Kathrine (Ryan) and their son, Jax; granddaughter Shel (Dan) Hyatt, great-granddaughter Leah (Andrew) and their daughter, Avery; great-granddaughter Morgan (Nick), great-granddaughter Kate, granddaughter Nic (Pete) Hansen and their children: Miah, Josiah, Michelyn, and Jaren; granddaughter Shanna (Ben) Peterson and their children: Bryce, Brady, Brock, and Brynn; grandson Todd (Tabitha) Volden and their children: Seth, Chandler, and Tessa; granddaughter Tasha Volden and her children: Morgan, Dominic, Savannah, and Vivian; grandson Lee (Heidi) Stenerson and their children: Maggie, Sawyer, and Connor; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Lee”; an infant son, David; her parents, Bernard and Stella Bauman; and her sister and brother-in-la, Delores and Pat Collins.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Ontario Gospel Hall.  Brandon Doll will officiate.  Burial be at a later date.
