Jeffrey “Jeff” T. Clark, 62, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, Feb 25, 2025, at his home.
He was born on June 20, 1962, to Nevada and Louella (Brumitt) Clark in Hillsboro, Wis. Jeff attended Brookwood High School. In 1989, he enlisted into the military, proudly serving his country as a member of the United States Navy.

While in the Navy, he was able to serve on the USS Haddock submarine with brother Bob. He earned dual designation submarine qualifications certificate called Dolphins and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialists. He is also credited with creating a new weight test for safety clamps that was adopted Navy-wide.
In 1992, Jeff was united in marriage to Marcy A. (Eckoldt) Finlay. Jeff worked for Cardinal Glass, the National Guard Armory in Sparta, and the United States Postal Service in Tomah and Wilton. Jeff was a familiar face at the Tomah and Wilton Post Office, dedicating over 23 years between the two locations, retiring in 2021. Jeff was a member of the Norwalk American Legion Post 438 for many years as well as the Wilton Rod & Gun Club.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman; if he had the time, he could be found outside. Hunting and fishing, just to name a few, were his favorite things to do. As a Packer fan, he loved watching the games and cheering for his team. Above all, Jeff was a family man that loved spending time with his grandkids, they were the center of his universe. He had a witty, cheerful personality and was somewhat of a jokester.
He is survived by his wife, Marcy of Norwalk; his father, Nevada of Hillsboro; his children, Barney (Pauline) Finlay of Ocala, Fla., and their children, Timothy, Raylan and Kiera; Sarah (Don) Granger of New Lisbon and their children, Joseph, MaKayla, Mickryan and DJ; Audrey (Harlan) Brooks of Norwalk and their children, Dylan, Haley, Savannah and Kylie; Jason (Shayna) Clark of La Crosse and their children, Kahlan, Joslynn and Trinity; his siblings, Robert Clark and Lori Eden; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (Robin Trujillo) Eckoldt, Shelley (David) Eshelman, and John (Kim) Eckoldt. He is further survived by his special friends, Neal, Joe and Rita, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Louella; his mother-in-law and father-in-law; his grandparents; and a sister-in-law, Michelle Clark.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 1–5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Wilton American Legion, 508 Walker St., Wilton.
Military honors will be performed at 2 p.m. Saturday by Norwalk American Legion Post 438.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
