Immanuel United Methodist Church in Norwalk will host its yearly Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Service.

This service has been done for many years in conjunction with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilton and Grace Haven Church in Ontario and continues this year.

The service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Norwalk Church (the church with the clock). This is open to anyone who would like to give thanks for the blessings that have come to them this year and for continued blessings in the new year and for any other reason that you would like to come and worship with us.

It is asked that attendees bring nonperishable items for the local food pantry.

“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” — Psalm 107:8-9
