A man died in the town of Kickapoo on Monday after his tractor rolled over on a logging road, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
Responding personnel found that Jimmy L. Kennedy, 65, of Wind Lake, Wis., had been operating a medium-sized garden tractor alone on private property. When the tractor overturned, Kennedy was lodged underneath the tractor.
Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Vernon County Coroner’s Office.
Responding agencies consisted of the Viola Fire Department, Readstown Fire Department, Kickapoo Valley Rescue Squad Ambulance Service, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, and the Vernon County Coroner’s Office.
