Mary Ellen Brandau, 57, of Holmen, formerly of Wilton, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Mary Ellen was born July 13, 1966, in La Crosse. At the age of 9 days old, she was welcomed into the family of Harold and Emogene Brandau of Wilton as their foster daughter. She grew up in a loving family and was cherished by all.
She is survived by Rick and Carol Brandau, David and Cathy Brandau, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Harold and Emogene Brandau; her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Kristi Brandau; her nephew, Matthew Brandau; and her great-niece, Ella Brown.
Mary Ellen was the life of the party, especially if there was music, as she would dance the night away. She also loved country music and her favorite television shows “The Price is Right” and “The Wheel of Fortune.”
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery on South Ridge, rural Ontario. Rest in peace; we love you.
