Eileen Ann Pasch (Lydon) peacefully passed away May 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a devoted wife to Roger Pasch for nearly 67 years and a cherished mother to Michelle (Robert Tracey), Kelly (Dennis Kramer), and Roger Jr. (Lisa Pasch). Eileen was adored by her grandchildren, Ross Kramer (Sarah), Jillian (Jerett Knoblock), Cate (Sean Casey-Schmidt), Maggie (Sean Henneberry), Olivia (Tyler Kunze), and Jackson Pasch. She found immense joy in being a doting great-grandmother to Kolton, Aubrey Casey-Schmidt, Roland, Henrik, Rivher Kramer, Sammi, Makenzi Knoblock, Oliver, and Callie Henneberry.

Eileen grew up in Wilton, Wis., where she met and married Roger. They moved to the Janesville area soon after. Eileen worked as a telephone operator, but her favorite role in life was caregiver to her family. She loved having her entire family gather together as often as possible.

Eileen was the heart of her family and a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Janesville. Her compassionate spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire generations to come.

In the words of Maya Angelou, “To describe my mother would be to write about a hurricane in its perfect power. Or the climbing, falling colors of a rainbow.” Eileen’s vibrant spirit and unwavering strength will forever be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.

Eileen was preceded in death by her father, Roland Lydon; her mother, Margaret Parsons; her daughter, Michelle Tracey; along with other cherished family members.

The family wishes to extend its deepest appreciation to the caring and dedicated staff and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital, Cedar Crest rehabilitation center, and St. Mary’s Hospice for their compassionate care during Eileen’s last months of life. They went beyond being health professionals to angels of care and concern.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she found solace and community throughout her life, on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday at the church until time of Mass. The Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home in Janesville is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Hospice in honor of Eileen’s memory.

Forever in our hearts, Eileen will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
