Local communities will host trick-or-treat hours on Halloween:
• Elroy — 4–6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31
• Kendall — 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31
• Norwalk — 4–6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, with Norwalk Lions Club’s Halloween party afterward at the Norwalk Village Hall.
• Ontario — 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Truck-or-treat from 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, on the square. Kids’ games, hotdogs and snacks, and prizes for costumes and decorated trunks. Sponsored by the Ontario Community Club.
• Wilton — 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Wilton Public Library Halloween party from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
