CROSS PLAINS, Wis. — Lyle Leverentz, 62, of Cross Plains, Wis., passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at UW Hospital and Clinics as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Leventz maintained a summer home on County Highway ZZ, near Ontario.
He worked as an architect for over 35 years, most recently for Potter-Lawson. One of Lyle’s biggest accomplishments was being publicly recognized for his design and oversight of construction of the air traffic control tower at Volk Field, Camp Douglas.
Lyle enjoyed weekend trips, ATVing and motorcycling with his good friend Tom. He loved live music and was an avid Packers and Badgers sports fan.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Luanne; his two daughters; and three stepdaughters.
Lyle’s generosity toward others continues beyond his life on earth. In his final act, he gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. The family would like to thank all the medical staff and those who helped in this time of need.
