Royall School District Superintendent Mark Gruen is one of three finalists for the superintendent’s position in the Pardeeville School District, the Portage Daily Register reported Monday.
The other candidates are Dodgeville Area School District Pupil Services Director Robert Smudde and Pardeeville High School Principal Jason LeMay. The district tentatively is planning to host a virtual public event Jan. 19, when candidates will answer questions on livestream video.
Pardeeville’s current superintendent, Gus Knitt, will retire June 30.
