Timothy “Tim” Joseph Hauser, 42, of La Crosse and formerly of Cashton passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at his home, with his wife and family by his side.
Tim was born Dec. 24, 1969, to John and Mary (Stenerson) Hauser in Sparta. He was a 1988 graduate of Cashton High School. He was an amazing hair stylist in La Crosse for most of his adult life. He loved making his clients feel good and look great.
On May 15, 1999, he married Kim Burbach; together they cherished their life spent in La Crosse with their dog Jack. Tim lived life to the fullest. He loved to swim whenever and wherever he could. But seeing his family and friends happy was what delighted him the most. Everyone looked forward to seeing what Tim would do for Halloween year to year. His decorations and costumes were always magnificent. He appreciated and treasured every minute with his loved ones.
Tim is survived by his wife, Kim of La Crosse; his father, John (Judy) Hauser of Cashton; his sisters and brothers, Kelly (Lyle) Schaller of Cashton, Michael (Mary) Hauser of Holmen, Wis., Patrick Hauser of La Crosse, Dawn Seitz of Onalaska, Wis., and Trina (Jim Stafslien) Seitz of Cashton; his mother-in-law, Beverly Burbach of Onalaska; his sister-in-law, Kathy (Dave) Amundson of Colorado; his brother-in-law, Mike (Korie) Burbach of South Dakota; his nieces and nephews, Jordon Hauser, Josh (Cassy) Dickman, Jesse (Samantha) Dickman, Kylene (Jeff) Laakso, Cheyanne Scholze, Tabitha and Emily Swenson, Bobbi Jo and AJ, Courtney, Jordan Hauser, Alexis, Elichia and Amarie; his great-nieces, Makaya and Skylee; his best buddy, his dog, Jack; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Stenerson; his brother, Greg Hauser; his father-in-law, John Burbach; and his grandparents, Ona and Elmer Stenerson and Ray and Agnes Hauser.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton, with the Very Rev. Douglas Robertson officiating. A celebration of Tim’s life will start at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Neuie’s Varsity Club, 1920 Ward Ave., La Crosse, WI, 54601. Family and friends are also invited for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
