As part of its Ralph Nuzum Lecture Series, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve will offer “Geology in and Around the Kickapoo Valley” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the KVR Visitor Center on Highway 131 north of La Farge.
Presenter Eric Carson is a geologist at the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey and a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will discuss his recent efforts mapping the surficial geology of the Driftless area, along with his research at the Kickapoo, lower Wisconsin and upper Mississippi River valleys.
The program is free and open to the public.
