One man is dead after a one-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 131, near Nisswa Road, in rural Ontario, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 10:30 a.m. today, the sheriff’s office responded to the crash. The responding deputy had difficulty locating the vehicle, which had left the roadway and rolled down a hill.
Theron Haas, 42, of Tomah was found deceased at the scene.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Monroe County 911 Communications Center, the Wilton Fire Department and the Monroe County Medical Examiner.
This incident remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
