The Vernon County Law Enforcement Association will sponsor its 49th annual hunter safety rifle match from 8–11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Westby Rod & Gun Club, County Highway P in Timber Coulee.
To shoot, a participant must meet the following requirements:
• Must be 10–15 years old
• Must have completed hunter-safety course (bring certificate or temporary certificate)
• Must have taken hunter-safety course from a Vernon County instructor or be a resident of Vernon County
The registration fee is $1, and .22 caliber ammunition will be provided. Medals and trophies will be awarded, raffle prizes will be given away, and food will be served.
