Bonnie “Bunny” Schallhorn, 73, of Wisconsin Dells passed away peacefully Friday, April 28, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wis.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be at the Picha Funeral Home, 321 Washington Ave., on Wednesday, May 10, from 4–8 p.m.
Bunny was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Michigan, the daughter of Kenneth and Vida (Palen) Beaudrie. She was raised by her stepparents, Orv and Garnet Collins. In September 1996, she married John Schallhorn in Indian River, Mich.
Bunny enjoyed playing bingo, and she was a wonderful cook and baker. Being with family and friends also was very special to her.
Bunny is survived by her husband, John; her daughters, Mary Sue Erickson and Deb Denman, both of Kendall; a stepson, Michael (Lerma) Schallhorn of California; a brother, Patrick (Delores) Collins of Sarasota, Fla.; her grandchildren, Danille (Alex) Vlasak of Thornton, Colo., Diana Shaw of Ontario, and Ian Erickson of Elroy; and her great-grandchildren, Carter, Brianna, Elliah, Braydyn and Masyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-parents; her brother, Jack Collins; and her sisters, Marie Rynes and Bonnie McPherson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
